FAQS

Frequently Asked Questions

If I rent the barn, what types of events can I host there?

The Barn is ideal for intimate celebrations, weddings, day retreats, and end-of-life ceremonies. We welcome soulful gatherings that prioritise connection, meaning, and nature.

How many people can The Barn accommodate?

The space is best suited for gatherings of up to 80-100 guests for an indoor outdoor experience that spills over into adjoining garden. For an intimate sit down indoor experience we recommend limiting to 25 guests. This ensures a boutique, spacious experience that honours the energy and intimacy of your event.

Can we bring our own catering and furniture?

Yes. You’re welcome to bring your own caterers, styling, tables, and seating. This gives you the freedom to shape the space to suit your vision. We provide access to power and water.

What time do we need to finish?

We respect nature and the environment and therefore encourage you to commence you celebration to enjoy daylight hours as much as possible. The space is available until midnight with noise restrictions from 10pm.

What time can we access the venue for setup (bump-in) and pack-down?

Standard access is from 8am to midnight on the day of your booking. If you need additional time for setup or pack-down, please let us know in your enquiry—we’ll do our best to accommodate where possible.

Is The Barn suitable for wet weather?

Yes. The Barn provides an indoor rustic space that can comfortably host your event in case of rain. Depending on the numbers you are entertaining, we do recommend hiring an outdoor marquee that would be suitable as a rain cover should you require it.

Is this a public venue or shared with other events?

Your booking is completely private. Only you and your guests will have access to the venue during your event time, ensuring privacy and presence throughout.

How many cars can we park on-site?

We can comfortably accommodate up to 50 - 60 cars on-site. For larger groups, we recommend carpooling where possible to preserve the natural setting and ease traffic flow.

Can we stay on-site overnight?

Yes. The Barn includes two bedrooms—one with a king bed (or 2 singles) and one with a queen bed—for guests or hosts who’d like to stay overnight. In addition, we offer a separate shipping container retreat with a double bed, providing a peaceful space to rest after your event. Talk through these options with us.
